This is the first document that acknowledges the existence of William and Peggy Guy and their family in Sumter County, Alabama.

This census also shows that Grandpa Billy was at least 20yrs older than his wife Peggy. According to the information entered into this census she was around 16 years old when they married!

It also is the first document to show some truth to the rumor that William, aka "Grandpa Billy" had another family. In the marital status column M2 is written which means that Peggy is his second wife.
